The group has embarked upon the project of Maruti Clean Coal & Power Limited (MCCPL) along with three other like minded Business houses. MCCPL is the project company which is putting up a 270 MW (2 units of 135 MW each) Washery Rejects Based Thermal Power Station at Bandakhar Village, Dist. Korba, Chattisgarh.

The Company was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 08/03/1999. In the name of MARUTI EXPLOCHEM (P) LTD and was later on converted to Public Limited company on 17th September 2002 by the ROC of MP and CG. Thereafter the name of the company was changed to MARUTI CLEAN COAL & POWER LIMITED on 25th September 2002 to align the name with the nature of business.
