An admired personality of Indian Steel Industry, , Shri J P Agrawal, aged 62 years is amongst the few Indian steel tycoons who have taken the industry to a level that cannot be surpassed. Chairman and co-architect of Central India’s largest conglomerate Hira Group, he has toiled from the scratch to embed the name in the industrial history. His immense knowledge and experience about the practical applications of technology has helped in the expansion of the group. Presently he is the President of Adjudication Wing of Steel Chamber (C.G.).

He has been awarded with Danvir Bhamasha Award by the State Government. His relentless efforts towards the upliftment of the society are remarkable.

33 years of experience in various techno commercial aspects of industries like ferro alloys, steel, power and sponge iron have truly made Shri O P Agrawal a name to recon with in the industry. Aged 59 years, he is a commerce graduate and founder of Hira Group. His store of knowledge has helped turn all the endeavors of the group into a win.

He has remained as a trump element for the group in the manufacturing sector for the good. He has been completely involved in the setting up of the Ferro Alloy projects of Hira Group. He is currently Chairman and Managing Director of Hira Power and Steels Limited.

Aged 57 years, has over 3 decades of experience in steel and ferro alloys industry. A qualified electrical engineer who has been with the Hira Group since its inception. He has set up various plants like Cement, Ferro-Alloys, Automatic Rolling Mills, Sponge Iron Plant, Mega Power Project and Steel Plants.

His proficiency in the financial as well as the technical field has made him transform a small company to a leading group in India. He is currently Managing director of Godawari Power and Ispat Limited. He is also serving as Vice Chairman of Sponge Iron Manufacturers Association (SIMA). He is also the ex-chairman of CII in the year 2006-07 and has been involved in a number of social organizations.

A graduate in commerce, Shri H P Agrawal aged 54 years is Hira Group’s energy. He is the one who gets everything and anything done from the stage of planning till its execution. With vast amount of experience in raw material procurement and project execution, he has helped the group stay intact through the thick and thin. Possessing an innovative bent he works towards getting all the policies as well as the ideas into their implementation. From the stage of policy making till the final product he has always aimed at delivering the best.

25 years of experience in commercial, financial and administrative maturity has made Shri N P Agrawal, aged 52 years, the guiding light behind the Hira Group. A graduate in commerce, he has been a part of his family business looking after financial aspects of group. Presently he is Managing Director of Hira Ferro Alloys Limited. He has always stood beside Hira Foundation, a charitable trust of the Hira Group, and worked for the fulfillment of its motives. His knowledge has helped the group reap quite a lot of gainful harvests. Shri N.P. Agrawal is also the Chairman of CII of Chhattisgarh region for the year 2010-11.

A qualified mechanical engineer, Shri G P Agrawal, aged 50 years has been an active support as far as the Hira Group’s administration is concerned. He acquired considerable skill in the various aspects of Ferro Alloys metallurgy and financial aspect of the group. His experience in running an industry as a whole and his administrative qualities have enabled him to bring a bounty of profits for the group. He stands as a pillar that supports the whole organization through its strength and deep rooted knowledge.

An electronic engineer with 18 years of experience, Shri Dinesh Agrawal has been a part of the Hira group through all the years since its formation. Presently he is Chairman and Managing Director of R.R. Ispat (A unit of Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd.). He has been associated with all the electrical and technical aspects of Ferro Alloys Unit, Sponge Iron Plant, Steel Rolling Mills in the past. Presently he is involved in the day to day technical aspects of setting of the new plants of the Group companies. His technical competence and passion for success in whatever he does have brought the group to another level. Currently he is serving as the chairman of CII YI (Young Indians) Raipur chapter.

A commerce graduate from Sydenham College of Commerce, Mumbai. Shri Amit Agrawal aged 36 years has been an ‘on the toes’ man for the Hira Group. His knowledge and expertise in getting things implemented has benefitted the organization immensely. With an experience in the steel industry that’s unmatchable, he has been a key element in the growth of the group. Presently he is the Chairman and Managing Director of Hira Steels Ltd. He helps convert all the ideas and policies into execution with adroitness that has helped the group to reach a new high in secondary steel market. He is a well known figure as a marketing person in the steel industry.

An MBA with a vast experience in management, Shri Alok Agrawal aged 34 years has been an active member of the Hira group all through. Since a decade he has been handling the operations and management of steel and power division of Hira Group. Presently he is Chairman and Managing Director of Jagdamba Power and Steels Limited. He is unbeatable when it comes to getting the policies and the plans executed. His innovative ways and technocrat capabilities have helped the group to achieve new avenues in green energy sector.

A second generation entrepreneur aged 30 years Shri Vikas Agrawal has introduced a ray of freshness and a young spirit in the Hira Group. An electrical engineering graduate, he is presently sharing the chair as the executive director of Hira Power and Steels Limited. He is responsible for the activities starting from financing a New Project, day to day financial control, and complete administration of the Project. His brilliance has added a different dimension in the group, newer ideas leading to newer heights never accomplished before.

At 28 years of age, Shri Siddharth Agrawal, an MBA, has injected in the Hira Group, his young ideas as well as a fresh approach. He was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of GPIL on the 1st April, 2006. Presently he is the Executive Director of GPIL & R. R. Ispat (A unit of Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd.). He is managing project implementation, procurement of raw materials, overall operation and marketing of the company. With his young and innovative bent he has been working hard towards making the group conform to its goals and fulfilling them in a new light.

A second generation entrepreneur and an engineering graduate Shri Rahul Agrawal aged 27 believes that entrepreneurship is his passion. He is responsible for looking after Mining and New Projects in India & abroad such as in South Africa, Turkey, Qatar, Oman, Kazakhstan etc. Motivated by business and technology, he takes everyday as a new challenge as directs all his efforts towards winning it! His conviction and knowledge of the field has proved to be an asset for the Hira Group.

The youngest son of Shri B L Agarwal and a second generation entrepreneur Shri Abhishek Agarwal aged 26 years is the CEO of GPIL. An engineering graduate with a techno managerial persona, he has been putting in all his efforts and knowledge towards making the group a pioneer in the steel industry. He exercises complete authority over all the Operational, financial and purchase activities as a chief executive officer.He laid the foundation and then successful operation of Pellet Plant in GPIL.

His managerial skill and leadership quality is exemplary. His entrepreneurial spirit directs the company towards its objectives. As a Chief executive officer he has complete authority over all the Operational, financial, purchase activities.

Shri Vinay Agrawal, a man who has aimed at delivering the best performance and leading the Hira Group towards incomparable heights. An MBA aged 25 years is the C.E.O. of Hira Ferro Alloys Limited. His managerial skills and implementation methodologies help him cross every obstacle with utmost accuracy. His expertise in the IT sector has helped him and the group extremely. He is currently involved with the administration, execution and controlling of technical aspects of setting of power project in group. The positive energy that he passes on is the prime reason for the group's accomplishments.
