CPCBL is the first coal based venture of the Group. A Coal washery with a capacity of 1.25 million Tons per Annum is located in Sirgitti Industrial area, Bilaspur.

The fly ash generated from the Thermal Power Plant is one of the greatest environmental hazards. The Central Government has advocated compulsory usage of beneficiated coal by the power plant. The usage of beneficiated coal also increases boiler life in power plants as well as kiln life in sponge iron plant. CPCBL is one of the foremost coal washeries in Chhattisgarh. The plant commenced operations in September, 2004. All the major sponge iron manufacturers and cement plants are availing the beneficiation services of this plant. Factory Address
