Emboldened by the success of HFAL, the promoters decided to set up another Ferro alloys plant with two furnaces of 4 MVA each. This company went into production in March, 1995 manufacturing Ferro chrome & Silico manganese. The year saw a boom in Ferro chrome sales & the performance of AFAL also reflected this boom.
